39 And having awakened, He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea “Be still, be silenced[a]”. And the wind stopped. And there was a great calm. 40 And He said to them, “Why are you afraid[b]? Do you not yet have faith?” 41 And they feared a great fear[c]. And they were saying to one another, “Who then is this One, that[d] even[e] the wind and the sea obey Him?”
